In the 200 yard medley relay the Islanders won in 1:53.14, state qualifying time, with the team of Caitlin Cox, Leah Fisk, Sabrina Kwan and Christina Williamson.

Alex Seidel won the 200 freestyle race in 2:01.01, a 3A state time, while Kristin Hoffman took second for the Islanders, followed by Maddie Larkin in third place. Islander Emily Olsen won the 200 individual medley race, finishing in 2:16.90, qualifying for state in the event. Masami Cookson finished in second place while Natalie Marques was third overall. In the 50 freestyle race Bellevue’s Kim Williams was first in 24.66, while Williamson finished second in 25.54. Kwan was third and Andrea Hatsukami finished in fifth place.

Meg Lindsay won the diving competition with 190.55 points, with teammate Hadley Michaels finishing in second place with 138.90 points.

In the 100 yard butterfly event, Bellevue’s Naomi Ngo earned the top finish in 1:01.19, but Mercer Island’s Danielle Deiparine finished second in 1:02.70. Larkin finished third and Emily Koksu was fourth.

Hoffman won the 100 freestyle race in 55.15, a state qualifying time, while Kwan finished second, Cookson third and Bellevue’s Linnea Uyeno fourth.

The 500 freestyle race finished with Cox in first place with a state time of 5:22.-3, followed by Angela Riggins in second and Fisk in third.

Mercer Island’s team of Williamson, Cookson, Margaret Seaton and Cox won the 200 freestyle relay in 1:45.27, qualifying for state, while the second place group of Hoffman, Olsen, Hatsukami and Riggins finished in 1:47.64.

Seidel earned her second individual win of the meet, winning the 100 backstroke race in 1:01.92, with Deiparine finishing in third place and Kira Godfred in fourth overall.

In the 100 breast stroke race, Islander Fisk finished second overall, followed by teammate Sofija Raisys in fourth and Michelle Na in sixth.

Mercer Island’s Dieparine, Olsen, Cookson and Seidel won the 400 freestyle relay race in 3:45.67, while Cox, Kwan, Hoffman and Godfred teamed up to take second place.

The Islanders will host Bainbridge on Tuessday, Oct. 2 at 3:30 p.m. at Mary Wayte Pool.
