Interlake won the first two matches by forfeit, giving the team wins in the 113 and 120 weight division, but Islander Luke Wilson won the 126 bout by technical fall 19-3 over Grant Cole. Jacob Pruchno pinned John Harmon in 3:34 minutes to win the 132 weight class match.

Interlake’s Daniel Montyoa won the 138 divison by technical fall 16-1 over Mike Ong. In the 145 weight class, Nick Richards beat Kevin Richardson by a 4-2 decision and Connor Gullstad pinned Vamsi Anam in 24 seconds to win the 152 match.

In the 160 weight class, Chris Richards beat Chung-Chen Huang by 14-9 decision and in the 170 division, Nicholas Chandler pinned Seung Lee in 45 seconds. Daniel Stanke pinned Jonathan Palagashvili in 45 seconds to win the 182 match.

Evan Condon beat Stanley Ruvinov in the 195 by technicall fall 15-0, and Andrew Picton won the 220 weight class by forfeit. In the 285 division Benjamin O’Connell pinned David Khanatayev in 1:35.

The wrestling team will host Bellevue on Thursday, Jan. 24, the team’s senior night. The meet begins at 7:30 p.m.
