The Mercer Island girls golf team earned a KingCo win on Tuesday, March 26, beating Lake Washington at the Bellevue Municipal Golf Course. The final score was 242-268.

Lake Washington’s Anna Jensen finished in the top spot with a score of 41, while Mercer Island’s Kate Peterson was second with 47. Whitley Pearson finished in third for the Islanders with a 48 and Maddy Pearson and Vanna Orecchio tied for fourth place with a 49.

The golf team will take on Sammamish on Thursday, March 28 in a 4 p.m. match at Jefferson Golf Course.
