Last season: The Islanders finished the state tournament in fourth place, after tying Bellevue for a co-league championship earlier in the season.
Strengths: “Our greatest strength will be our depth and team chemistry,” said Hall.
Focus: “We will focus on getting everyone a chance to play early on in hte season,” said the coach. “We’ll be focusing a lot on counter attack and defensive pressure.”
Seniors: Chris Apodaca, Harrison Clarke, Ken Ho, Keoni Ogawa, Thomas Rall, Austin Ralph, Chris Merritt, Kurt Schafer.
Game to watch: “Our game against defending state champs Bellevue this season is a must see,” said Hall.
The Islanders are scheduled to play Bellevue for the first time on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Bellevue.
