The Islanders were down 20-7 at the end of the first quarter, and faced a 42-18 deficit at the end of the first half.

The third quarter had an 8-4 score for Mercer Island, followed by a 14-14 score in the fourth quarter to end the game for the Islanders.

Renae Tessem and Rachel Tessem had the team’s high with seven points, while Savanna Reid had five points. Brooke Behrbaum, Suir Johnson and Ari Moscatel had four points each, Lauren Ellis added three, while Julia Blumenstein, Yasmeen El Rafey and Jamie Mounger each had two points.

The Islanders finished the season with a 5-9 league record and were 5-15 overall.
