THEFT: A bicycle was reported stolen in the 8000 block of N. Mercer Way at 11:57 a.m.

Sept. 19

WARRANT ARREST: A subject was arrested for a local misdemeanor warrant at 10:05 p.m. in the 9600 block of SE 36th St.

Sept. 20

ANOTHER ARREST: Kirkland police arrested a subject on a Mercer Island Municipal Court warrant at 12:49 p.m. in the 2700 block of Bellevue Way. The subject was transported to court, where she was released on personal recognizance. She also had a Clyde Hill warrant, and was booked into jail on that warrant.

FRAUD: Forgery of bank checks was reported at 1:38 p.m. in the 7800 block of SE 71st St.

INFORMATIONAL REPORT: At 5:02 p.m. in the 2400 block of 76th Ave. SE, a man said he wired $15,500 to Florida to purchase a watch. The recipient refused to send the watch or return the money, saying that he believes the money is involved in a debt he is owed by another party. The incident was also reported to authorities in Florida.

TRAFFIC OFFENSES: Police stopped a driver in the 7500 block of westbound I-90 at 9:43 p.m. who provided a driver’s license belonging to a possible brother. Citations were issued for driving with a suspended license and providing false information.

Sept. 21

HARASSMENT: An Islander in the 9000 block of E. Shorewood Drive reported at 5:37 p.m. that they had been harassed for the last two months by a neighbor who had made fictitious noise complaints and left notes on their door. The neighbor denied the accusations.

CAR THEFT: A victim’s vehicle, a Honda CR-V, was stolen from the Park and Ride between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. There was no suspect information.

PROWLING: A victim reported that her locked vehicle was entered by force at 8:50 a.m. in the 2000 block of 84th Ave. SE, and her purse was taken from under the driver’s seat.

Sept. 24

DOMESTIC: An adult female said she was shoved to the ground by a male partner at 4:07 p.m. in the 4400 block of Ferncroft Road.

Sept. 25

DEATH INVESTIGATION: A subject passed away in their sleep at 7:28 p.m. in the 9200 block of SE 42nd St. It was a natural death.

Sept. 26

APS: Police responded to an APS referral to investigate allegations of abuse in an adult family home in the 2200 block of 80th Ave. SE. at 3 p.m.

THEFT: A victim said their bike was stolen from the back patio of a ground level apartment in the 7700 block of Sunset Highway at 7:01 p.m.
