Theft

Theft

An Islander man reported that his Jet Ski was stolen from the lift on which it was being kept in the 6600 block of East Mercer Way. According to the report, the man noticed that the Yamaha Jet Ski was missing on May 20. He last saw the watercraft on May 17.

Arrest

An Oak Harbor man was pulled over in the I-90 corridor for expired tabs. A computer check revealed that the man was driving with an expired or revoked license. Police arrested the man and booked him into the Issaquah Jail. Starbucks towing took custody of the vehicle.

Car prowls

A string of car prowls occurred on the night of May 22. A woman living in the 3000 block of West Mercer Way reported that two of her cars were prowled on the night of May 22. According to the report, both of the cars had been left unlocked. The thief stole a GPS system from one of the vehicles. Estimated loss is $150.

A woman living in the 3000 block of 61st Avenue S.E. reported that two of her cars were prowled on the same night. A phone charger/FM transmitter was taken from one of the vehicles, both of which were unlocked. Total loss is about $50.

A woman living in the 6000 block of S.E. 32nd Street reported that her unlocked vehicle was entered. The thief used the garage door opener to enter the resident’s garage, from which a bicycle was stolen. Estimated loss is $800.

In the 2700 block of 60th Avenue S.E., an officer observed two vehicles that had apparently been prowled. A cell phone charger was reported missing from one of the cars. Latent finger prints were lifted from the car door and submitted to the MIPD as evidence. Both vehicles had been unlocked.
