Islanders enjoyed caroling, arts and crafts, Santa photos and holiday treats at the annual tree lighting and Firehouse Munch on Dec. 2.
The city also ran a Toys for Tots drive to help children in need to have a better holiday season, and the Mercer Island firefighters kicked off their coat drive, which will continue through the month of December.
