The Mercer Island High School track and field team finished 15th and 28th at last Saturday's Bellevue Invitational at Bellevue High School.

The Mercer Island High School track and field team finished 15th and 28th at last Saturday’s Bellevue Invitational at Bellevue High School.

The meet, which featured many of the top teams from around the region had 29 teams enter. The MIHS boys earned 18 points for a 15th place finish, while the girls team had four points to finish in 28th, just ahead of Juanita, which had one point.

The Islanders will host Bellevue on Thursday afternoon for the last home track meet of the season. The meet begins at Islander Stadium at 4 p.m.
