A Mercer Island city council and school board candidates forum is set for 7-8:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 at Islander Middle School (7447 84th Ave. SE). Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The forum — which is presented by the League of Women Voters of Seattle King County, Mercer Island PTA and Mercer Island Preschool Association — will feature:

City council candidates

Position 2, Daniel Becker

Position 4, Ted Weinberg

Position 6, Lisa Anderl and Johana Beresky

Position 7, Julie Hsieh and Adam Ragheb

School board director candidates

Position 2, Julian Bradley

Position 4, Stephanie Burnett and Robert O’Callahan

The general election is Nov. 4, and King County Elections will mail out ballots on Oct. 15.
