Mercer Island Youth and Family Services’ Healthy Youth Initiative program will host the MI Healthy Youth Forum 2022 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Nov. 9 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center.
Jennifer Miller, author of “Confident Parents, Confident Kids,” will be the featured speaker and facilitator for the “Do well. Be well. Tools for your child’s success,” forum. She will share information about how social and emotional skills are the foundation for all children’s success and well-being.
Forum participants will be grouped at tables according to the development stage of their child, and the event will include opportunities for dialogue among these groups. The event is appropriate for parents of children of all ages and any community members or professionals invested in youth well-being.
Registration is required for the event and can be completed at https://www.mihealthyyouth.com/
The Mercer Island School District and Mercer Island Council 2.9 PTA are event partners for the forum.
