Mercer Island Rowing Club will hold its Row for MI annual fundraiser from 4-6 p.m. on Oct. 5 at the Mercer Island Beach Club (8326 Avalon Drive).

The event will feature a silent auction, paddle raise, cocktails and appetizers.

According to an event flier, “Mercer Island Rowing Club is a nonprofit organization that cultivates a deeper connection to our environment and community by enabling individuals of all ages and abilities access to rowing. We will be out on the water Summer 2026.”

On the critical fundraising front, the club is aiming to accumulate $250,000 for equipment, facilities and safety- and administrative-related expenses to get the club rolling and sustaining it well into the future, according to a previous Reporter article.
