The Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust will be offering two opportunities for Islanders to volunteer to keep Mercer Island beautiful.

First is a tree planting at Luther Burbank Park, this Saturday and again March 17, both from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Then there will be trail work on Feb. 25, also at Luther Burbank Park. Volunteers must be 14 years old or older for this event.

All work parties are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
