OSPI partners with Microsoft

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction recently announced a partnership with Microsoft. The pairing will allow Microsoft to create a new IT Academy in the state.

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction recently announced a partnership with Microsoft. The pairing will allow Microsoft to create a new IT Academy in the state.

The Washington IT Academy is a technology education program in two areas: training and certification.

The initiative was discussed at a House Education Committee meeting on Tuesday, April 5.

The program will allow participants to become certified in various software topics, such as Microsoft Office.

Microsoft will provide software and staff support to every high school in Washington.
