Major Reid Sanborn, a 1998 graduate of Mercer Island High School, flew his last flight in the Air Force in an F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jet on Oct. 11, at Seymore Johnson AFB in Goldsboro, North Carolina. The flight ended his 12-year Air Force career. Sanborn will be moving to Sun Valley, Idaho with his family and starting a new career.
