Police arrest pair of suspects for alcohol theft | Mercer Island police blotter

June 17

Fraud: Adult Protective Services reached out to police regarding an elder who was a fraud victim and resides in the 7000 block of Southeast 71st Street. After speaking with the victim, he stated that his bank refunded the fraudulent charges.

Theft: In the 2700 block of 77th Avenue Southeast, a resident reported that someone stole his son’s unsecured bike that was left out overnight and was gone the next day.

June 18

Theft: A resident in the 7700 block of Southeast 27th Street reported that someone stole their clarinet.

Theft: Three suspects reportedly stole alcohol from a business in the 3000 block of 78th Avenue Southeast and police located two of the suspects and arrested them for theft.

June 22

Property damage: A resident in the 8000 block of North Mercer Way reported that someone damaged the ignition in their unlocked vehicle overnight.

June 23

Burglary: In the 4700 block of 90th Avenue Southeast, it was reported that someone stole multiple tools from inside the home belonging to contractors hired to remodel the residence.
