Primary Election Debate: King County Executive

After 12 years at the helm, former King County Executive Ron Sims is off to Washington D.C. where he will serve as deputy secretary of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development. He leaves an open seat for King County executive behind him. There is a strong slate of candidates vying for the position and the race is heating up. The public vote on Aug. 18 will determine which two candidates move on to the general election.
