Quendall Terminals meeting Feb. 28

A meeting of the City of Renton’s “Committee of the Whole” will include a further review and briefing of the Quendall Terminals project on the shore of Lake Washington, directly one-half mile east of Mercer Island’s South end.

A meeting of the City of Renton’s “Committee of the Whole” will include a further review and briefing of the Quendall Terminals project on the shore of Lake Washington, directly one-half mile east of Mercer Island’s South end. The comment period for the development’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement has finally closed after being extended twice, set for 5:30 p.m., Feb. 28, at Renton City Hall, 1055 S. Grady Way, seventh floor, in the Council Chambers.

The proposed project is designed to house over a thousand people and include buildings of the same size as the Seahawks practice facility on the shores of Lake Washington. The briefing will be followed by the regular city council meeting at 7 p.m.
