Rabbi Bogomilsky will discuss mental health at March 21 Rotary meeting

Rabbi Elazar Bogomilsky will discuss “Implementing Unique, Effective Programs to Address the Youth Mental Health Crisis” at the Rotary Club of Mercer Island’s meeting on March 21 at the Mercer Island Community and Event Center, 8236 SE 24th St. The main meeting begins at 12:30 pm. Guests are always welcome.

Rabbi Bogomilsky is co-founder of the Friendship Circle of Washington and has been the organization’s executive director since its inception in 2004. He will be speaking on the mental health challenges faced by young people today and the unique ways that the Friendship Circle is breaking down stigma to address this critical issue. The organization’s unique, dual-impact model of pairing participants with special needs with typically developing teen volunteers bridges the gap between these two populations and ensures that the community as a whole is supported, healthy and interconnected.
