Kindergarten registration for the 2021-22 school year in the Mercer Island School District begins on Feb. 3. Children must be 5 years old by Aug. 31, 2021, to register for the 2021-2022 school year.

Students will enroll in their home school. Visit http://mercerislandschools.org/kindergarten for details about documentation required for registration and school boundaries.

Registration will also open online at http://mercerislandschools.org on Feb. 3 for grades 1 through 12 for the 2021-22 school year for Mercer Island residents.

The district encourages families to enroll as soon as possible beginning Feb. 3. This helps the district forecast class sizes and staffing needs for the coming school year.
