This weekend the Washington State Department of Transportation will close the State Route 520 bridge and northbound lanes on Interstate 405, July 13-14.
The SR-520 bridge will close for its annual inspection, and crews will be installing a large fish-friendly culvert.
On I-405, crews will replace hundreds of broken concrete panels between S.E. 8th Street in Bellevue up to SR-520. The ramps from 405 to I-90 will also be closed.
The closures for SR-520 will start at 11 p.m. on Friday, July 12, and will run through 5 a.m. on Monday, July 15. The I-405 closure will begin at 10 p.m. on Friday and will reopen by 4 a.m. on Monday.
Drivers are urged to use Interstate 5 and to check traffic conditions prior to leaving.
