Wedding

Shannon Storie and T. Ryan Johnson were married on Sept. 5 at the bride’s home on Mercer Island. Rev. Paul Fauske officiated the wedding ceremony. A reception followed at Salty’s on Alki.

The bride is the daughter of Dennis and Penny Storie, of Mercer Island. She graduated with a Masters of Occupational Therapy from the University of Washington and is now employed at Courage Center Golden Valley.

The groom is the son of Kevin Johnson and Julie Baylor, of New Brighton, Minn. He majored in finance at Augsburg College in Minnesota and is now employed at Landmark Community Bank.

The bride and groom attended Mercer Island schools and met in elementary school.

The bridesmaid was Janelle Carr, sister of the bride; and the groomsman was Cody Brown.

The couple honeymooned in Hawaii and makes their first home in New Brighton, Minn.
