On behalf of the Mercer Island Guild of Seattle Children’s Hospital, I want to thank the Mercer Island Reporter for advertising the celebration so well. Saturday and Sunday we had a wonderful turn out selling many Mercer Island Directories which proceeds go directly to the Children’s Hospital for uncompensated care. There were many wonderful booths and people were having a fun time. I wish we had a few bands or some kind of music during the parade. Several people stopping by our booth asked why there wasn’t any music in the parade.

A special thank you to the Mercer Island Guild ladies for representing the Children’s Hospital so well. Anyone wishing to get a directory can purchase one at the book store.
