July 8

Property damage: A suspect caused approximately $2,000 damage when breaking into two vending machines in the 2700 block of 80th Avenue Southeast. The suspect was cited after being located from camera footage. The suspect stole about $20 in quarters.

July 9

Forgery: A resident in the 8400 block of Southeast 71st Street reported that someone stole their ID and credit card, which led to an attempted online purchase amounting to $32,000. Suspect was unknown.

July 11

Theft: In the 7700 block of Southeast 34th Street, an unknown suspect stole two bags of clothes and a metal “u boat” cart.

Cell phone found: A visitor at Mercerdale Park in the 3000 block of 77th Avenue Southeast found a cell phone.

Hand gun found: A resident in the 8300 block of Southeast 43rd Street found a hand gun on their porch.

Theft: After it was reported that a 20-year-old stole alcohol from the QFC in the 7800 block of Southeast 28th Street, the suspect was contacted while possessing the alcohol and was cited.

July 14

Vehicle prowls: Two vehicles were prowled in the south parking lot of Luther Burbank Park in the 8400 block of Southeast 26th Street. A wallet was reported stolen from one of the vehicles.
