Chamber lunch to focus on I-90 closures

Join your neighbors at noon on Thursday, March 5, at the Community Center at Mercer View for a presentation about the I-90 closures planned for May and July, the proposed Mercer Island Transit Station and what all of this means to Islanders.

Cakes and dolls

Celebrate Hina Matsuri, the Japanese Doll Day Festival, at 3:30 p.m., March 2, at the library. Children ages 8 and up are invited to bring a favorite doll and learn how the Japanese festival is celebrated. And sing Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! at 7 p.m., March 2, also at the library.
