Just in time for the holidays, three topiary deer cultivated in Oregon have taken up residence in downtown Mercer Island.
Named “Gazing,” these living sculptures will be permanent residents as part of the Mercer Island Arts Council’s addition to the Lid Sculpture Park.
Each deer is grown from two moonglow junipers and will live indefinitely with proper care.
Please note that these beautiful but fragile creatures are only for appreciating — not for playing with or climbing on.
