The Washington Education Association Sammamish Council is holding a rally for educators and their families who live in the 5th, 41st, 45th, and 48th legislative districts at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, at Island Park Elementary School on Mercer Island.

Event organizers invited Senator Steve Litzow and Rep. Marcie Maxwell to be present, along with Rep. Ross Hunter. Several educators, including a Mercer Island resident, will share their personal stories about health care.

The school is located at 5437 Island Crest Way.
