Aileen Cecilla Dubois

Aileen Cecilla Dubois (nee O’Daniel)

Our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother passed peacefully, April 12, 2013, three weeks short of her 101st Birthday! What a grand and wonderful life she lived. She is survived by her three children, Rodney, (Bellevue) his spouse Carol, Susan (Denver), her spouse Jim and Timothy (Tucson), his spouse, Peggy, Aileen’s sister, Joan McRae, seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Her husband of 45 years, Charles preceded her in death. Aileen witnessed a remarkable century of change in her beloved State of Washington. She was born and raised north of Spokane in the little town of Addy, and she loved to share stories with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren about a time when the horse and buggy was the norm in travel versus the automobile. Aileen and Charles settled on Mercer Island in 1966, and Aileen resided there for more than 40 years. Memorial Service will be held at Bellevue United Methodist Church on May 19, at 3 pm.
