Jeanne Louise Larson

Jeanne died peacefully at home on Mercer Island in the presence of her loved ones on Sunday, November 21, 2010. Born in Minneapolis in 1929 to Stanley and Jessica Sayer, Jeanne was raised in Perham, MN, educated at St. Cloud State University and graduated from the College of Medical Technology in Minneapolis.She worked in hospitals in Minneapolis, St. Paul, Petersburg, Louisville and Astoria before and after marrying Don in 1951. They moved to Mercer Island in 1955 where Jeanne worked and later retired from the Mercer Island School District.Her beautiful smile, infectious energy and extraordinary competence in all the endeavors of this remarkable woman will be long remembered. She is survived by husband, Don, sons David, Mark and Tim and their wives and six grandchildren.A memorial service will take place at St. Monica Catholic Church, 4301 88th Ave. SE, Mercer Island at 11AM on Friday, December 3rd.Donations in her memory may be sent to the Association for Catholic Childhood, 100 23rd Ave. S., Seattle, WA 98144.437146
