I would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the 400 guests who attended the annual Giving from the Heart Breakfast on Wednesday, Feb. 10. We are honored that you joined us, your friends and neighbors to learn about Mercer Island Youth and Family Services (YFS) and to give from your heart.

On behalf of the clients serviced by Youth and Family Services, the YFS professional staff and all of us on the board thank you, thank you, thank you. Together we raised approximately $95,000 to support the services of YFS, and your gift was an important part of our success.

Community sponsors supported the breakfast and all breakfast attendee donations will be put directly to work in support of the YFS mission to increase the quantity and quality of youth and family services on Mercer Island. YFS is a part of our healthy community and the benefits reach citizens of all ages and all walks of life. On behalf of these recipients, we extend our heartfelt thanks to you.
