Mercer Island High School sophomore Gabby Frederick, 15, (pictured in the center) won the varsity equitation on the flat competition in her age group — which included high school seniors — at the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA) National Finals from April 25-28 at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, North Carolina.
