Mercer Island basketball team wins Kentridge Tip-Off Classic

The Mercer Island High School boys basketball team won the 2010 Kentridge Tip-Off Classic June 4 through 6, pitting the Islanders up against 20 other opponents.

The Mercer Island High School boys basketball team won the 2010 Kentridge Tip-Off Classic June 4 through 6, pitting the Islanders up against 20 other opponents. The Islanders ended the weekend undefeated, with a 6-0 record. They beat 4A defending state champion Kentwood and other 4A powerhouses Kentridge and Auburn.
