The Mercer Island girls golf team beat Interlake on Monday, April 15 at Jefferson Park Golf Course. The final score was 235 strokes for the Islanders, while the Saints had 290.

Kate Peterson and Giovanna Orecchio both posted the team’s best score during the match at 45, while Whitley Pearson and Jane Peterson each had 48. Katie Rorem posted a 49, Molly White finished with 55, as did Carsen Harkins. Emma Young earned a 57 and Lizzy Larimer had 65.

The team will take on Juanita on Wednesday, April 17 at Jefferson Park and will travel to play Mark Morris on Friday, April 19 at Lewis River Golf Course. Friday’s match will begin at 3 p.m.
