Mercer Island team competes in Spokane’s Hoopfest | Sports brief

Several teams from Mercer Island traveled to Spokane during the last weekend in June for the annual Hoopfest.

Several teams from Mercer Island traveled to Spokane during the last weekend in June for the annual Hoopfest.

Team Villa No Fun, made up of Mercer Island High School graduates from the class of 2012, won their category. The team went undefeated and won five straight games to win their division.

The team includes: Michael Lewis, who attends the University of Washington, Kyle Reitinger who goes to Villanova University, Jeremy Chow who attends Gonzaga and Michael Diamond who also goes to UW.
