Six members of the Mercer Island High School girls lacrosse team and eight from the MIHS boys team were named to the 2010 All-State teams for Division I and Division II.

Six members of the Mercer Island High School girls lacrosse team and eight from the MIHS boys team were named to the 2010 All-State teams for Division I and Division II.

The MIHS girls Division II team earned the team sportsmanship award for Division II.

Named to the girls Division I first team included: senior Ellen Haas, who was also named to the first team last year. Named to the second team were seniors Catherine Laplant, defender, Talia Homchick, midfield, and Hannah Bahn, attack.

On the Division I first team from Mercer Island was sophomore defender Megan Jemley, and freshman Dulce Moll, who plays midfield, was on the Division II second team.

Eight members of the MIHS boys Division I team were honored, including senior Connor Beckwith, who earned his third straight all-state honor. Seniors Hap Giraud and Conner Raffety were both named to the first team for the second year in a row. Other all-state first team selections from MIHS included senior All-American Jonathan Wettack.

Named to the Division I third team were seniors Trevor Reed and Doug Mahony, junior Matthew Shields and sophomore Connor Bernal.
