MIHS drill team headed to state

Mercer Island High School’s drill team placed first in the Pom category, first in the Military category and second in the Kick category on March 15 at districts to qualify the trio of routines for the upcoming 3A state competition. State will take place on March 28 at the Yakima Valley Sundome. The squad will perform the routines at its state showcase at 6 p.m. on March 24 in the high school main gym.
