Two Mercer Island Islanders Cross Country athletes partook in the Class 3A state Cross Country meet at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco on Nov. 4.

Islanders’ junior Margaret Baker finished in 24th place individually, clocking a time of 18:47.6. Mercer Island senior Chloe Michaels captured 71st place in the final meet of her high school career with a time of 19:52.3.
