Mercer Island boys tennis has success at league tournament, doubles team moves on to districts

The Mercer Island boys tennis team will send Andrew Kaelin and Jack Mattox to the district tournament after they placed second in doubles at the 3A KingCo tournament on Oct. 26.

The Islanders had a great regular season, finishing with an 8-1 overall record and a solid showing at the 3A KingCo tournament.

Along with their doubles team of Kaelin and Mattox, the doubles team of Alex Patel and Jack Hixon placed fourth at the league tournament, and Brock Anderson placed fourth in singles.
