First art walk on South end begins May 19

The first Third Thursday Art Walk will take place on May 19 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the South end shopping center. The event, sponsored by the Mercer Island Arts Council, will feature student art and music.

Businesses sponsoring the event include: QFC, Rite Aid, Starbucks, Eurobody Salon, Ewing and Clark Luxury Real Estate, La Belle Spa, Karate West, Storage Court of Mercer Island, El Sombrero Restaurant and Sahara Pizza.

Each business will feature music and art created by Mercer Island students, along with prize drawings at the end of the event.
