Friends of Hoop girls win fifth grade title in Yakima

The Friends of Hoop team recently won the Best in the West tournament in Yakima.
The Friends of Hoop team recently won the Best in the West tournament in Yakima.

The Friends of Hoop girls basketball team recently traveled to Yakima, to compete in the Best in the West tournament against top teams from Washington and Oregon. The team won the fifth grade championship.

The team includes: Alexa Hsia, Catherine Roberts, Macy Mounger, Aolani Calderon, Vanessa Hsia, Claire Mansfield, Carly Gilbert, Caroline Swanson, Makena Carr, Hanley Courter. The team is coached by Carly Fromdahl and Kelly Sutherland.
