New hair salon is coming to town center

A new hair salon is opening in the Town Center on Monday, Aug. 1. Hair Excel will open at the former Great Clips location at 7605 S.E. 27th Street, Suite 110. For the first three days, Aug. 1-3, the salon will offer a grand opening special of $10.95 for a haircut, according to Long Ly, the owner, who was formerly the manager of Great Clips.

“I’m looking forward to being part of the community here,” Ly said.

A new spa named Indulge moved several weeks ago into the space formerly occupied by Dooz, a hair salon for kids and other services, at 7650 S.E. 27th Street #136. Dooz moved to Bellevue Square.

Expressions Hair Salon and Spa at 7803 S.E. 27th Street across from Tully’s has closed. The space is empty and available for lease.
