UPDATE: I-90 express lanes are open eastbound

The I-90 express lanes are now open eastbound. The lanes opened 30 minutes later than normal this afternoon, due to an earlier power outage on Mercer Island that prevented crews from changing the electronic signs and reversing the safety gates.

The I-90 express lanes are normally open Monday through Friday in the westbound direction from 1 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The lanes normally open in the eastbound direction by 2 p.m.
