Recess Monkey entertains moms and children in Mercerdale Park on Friday, Aug. 10, 2012. The band is comprised of three elementary school teachers: Jack Forman, Drew Holloway and Daron Henry.

The trio returns to Mercer Island on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 6:15 p.m. for a concert in Mercerdale Park at 77th Avenue S.E. and S.E. 32nd Street, presented by the Mercer Island Preschool Association. The community is invited to bring picnic dinners on the lawn.
