Coach: Dominic Woody

Last season: The Islanders advanced to the KingCo tournament last spring. The team had an 8-12 overall record.
Strengths: “With 11 seniors on this year’s varsity team, I feel our greatest strength will be our overall maturity,” said new head coach Dominic Woody. “This should serve us well as we progress through a very compact and intense two-month season.”
Focus: “The number one focus of our first-year coaching staff is to get our players to understand that the only thing they can control is themselves and how they go about their business,” said the coach. “We care more about their thought process and effort more than any individual result.”
Captains: Seniors Mack Schlamp, Brian Higgins, Alex Himstead and Matt Orehek.
Game to watch: “I’m not sure about a specific opponent or game, but as far as I’m concerned, any game at the new field at ICP is a can’t miss this coming spring,” said Woody.
