Mercer Island School District board meeting Thursday, May 23

The Mercer Island School District Board of Directors will hold a second regular meeting of the month on Thursday, May 23.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. in the Mercer Island City Hall Council Chambers.

The board will announce the new principal for Lakeridge Elementary, and introduce the new elementary associate principal Amiee Batliner-Gillette.

The board also plans to discuss the facilities master plan, specifically getting a educational specifications review update.

Staff will also present to the board a review of the Healthy Youth Survey results.
