Longtime Islander and Mercer Island Historical Society member and leader Phil Flash was honored for his service to the organization with the dedication of a new bench at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center that bears his name.

Longtime Islander and Mercer Island Historical Society member and leader Phil Flash was honored for his service to the organization with the dedication of a new bench at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center that bears his name. The dedication followed a meeting of the Society that included a birthday celebration. Flash turned 96 last week.
