Mercer Island All Comers Track Meet July 9
The Mercer Island All Comers Meet returns to Islander Stadium Thursday, July 9 at Mercer Island High School.
Presented by the Mercer Island Cross Country and Track Booster Club, the second-annual all-ages track meet will run from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Age divisions range from three years and under to 60 years and above.

Islanders named to WSBCA All State team
Four members of Mercer Island’s 3A title-winning baseball team were named to the Washington State Baseball Coaches Association (WSBCA) 2015 All State team, which was announced in June.
Islander infielder and DH Anthony Scalzo, pitcher Peter Lopes and catcher Michael Petrie all earned first-team nods, while sophomore infielder Noah Hsue was named to the second team.
Players are selected by the WSBCA board and by member coaches.
