The Mercer Island Youth and Family Services Foundation, in partnership with Lions Club, is managing the local Mercer Island Christmas Tree Lot this holiday season.

Customers may select a Noble, Nordmann or Douglas Fir Christmas tree in a range of sizes from the easy to access Farmers Insurance lower parking lot, located at 3003 77th Ave. SE. Mixed green wreaths and cedar garlands are also available for sale.

“There is a concern in the region that fresh Christmas trees may sell out,” said Jon Conradt, MIYFS Foundation board member. “But I can assure people that we placed our order well in advance, and we will have plenty of great looking trees available from our opening day.”

All proceeds support Mercer Island Youth and Family Services and Mercer Island Lions Club charitable giving.

The lot will be open from Nov. 25 to Dec. 22, from 2-8 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card.

MIYFS thanks its generous sponsors for their support with the Christmas Tree Lot: Republic Services, Farmers Insurance and Lasher Holzapfel Sperry and Ebberson.
