‘Disney and Dessert’ fundraiser for Mercer Island orchestra students is Feb. 25

Student musicians will perform at a “Disney and Dessert” concert at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 in the Mercer Island High School commons. Doors open at 1:30 p.m.
The fun family event is the only fundraiser for all seven of Mercer Island School District’s orchestras, grades 5-12.
It features delicious desserts, a raffle and, of course, an hour of the high school orchestra playing Disney music. Kids are invited to come in their favorite Disney costumes.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door for adults, and $5 for students. The concert is free for children under age 5 and for one 5th grade orchestra student (the youngest orchestra members) with a paying adult.

Team O is the booster club for MISD orchestra and is a 501(c)(3) organization that is a primary source of funding for instruments, music coaching, workshops and performance tours.
