Mercer Island girls track team earns third place at Lake Washington Invitational

Kamiak captured first place (87 team points) at the event. The Islanders 800 relay quartet consisting of Kayla Lee, Margaret Baker, Gretchen Blohm and Eliza Crenshaw earned first place with a time of 1:45.56. Mercer Island’s 1600 relay squad of Maya Virdell, Lee, Baker and Blohm cruised to a first place finish with a time of 4:03.58. Lee captured second place in the 200 with a time of 26.31. Baker captured second place in the 400 with a time of 58.74. Islanders senior Katie McCormick (pictured) competed in the high jump.
